GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. 1. General: ABANICO SPANISH LANGUAGE SCHOOL is not responsible for any of the student’s actions that are destructive or dangerous.

2. 2. Minimum age: 17 years.

3. 3. Classes: Most of the courses are held in the morning. During high season there may be some afternoon classes.

4. 4. Cancellation guarantee: If the cancellation is received two weeks before the commencement date of the course, we will reimburse the amount paid, except for the 65€ deposit.
   If the cancellation is received less than two weeks before the commencement date of the course, no reimbursement will be made, though the money paid may be used as part payment for a course at a future date. No cancellations will be accepted after the commencement of the course.

5. 5. Lodging - Accommodation: We cannot guarantee student's preferences if they register at the last minute. The student will be responsible for expenses incurred for the replacement of broken or tarnished objects due to negligence. Laundry is included in the price for the host families. If you are going to live in an apartment you are to obtain the keys to the place that is indicated upon acceptance. The price of the flats includes all utilities, except gas. Students who are going to live in a flat should provide their own sheets and towels.

6. 6. Non-recoverable class in cases of official holidays (See the calendar of the courses and festivities - holidays ).

7. 7. Expulsions: ABANICO SPANISH LANGUAGE SCHOOL can expel violent or disruptive students. ABANICO Escuela de Español is not responsible for the actions of the students and the consequences that could arise from such actions.

8. 8. Misprint: ABANICO SPANISH LANGUAGE SCHOOL is not responsible for any misprint.

9. 9. Reservation of Placement: ABANICO SPANISH LANGUAGE SCHOOL will send the course confirmation to the student after receiving the amount of 65€. You must remember to send this voucher via mail or fax. ABANICO SPANISH LANGUAGE SCHOOL will cancel any course if it does not receive that amount within two weeks after the student has registered.

10. 10. Transport service upon arrival: If you have requested transport service upon arrival you should inform ABANICO SPANISH LANGUAGE SCHOOL of your flight number and the time of your arrival. This information must arrive at ABANICO SPANISH LANGUAGE SCHOOL one week before your arrival. If there is some change or delay of flight, you must inform us within two hours prior to your arrival.

11. 11. Warning of time of arrival. All students who are going to live with a Spanish family must inform ABANICO SPANISH LANGUAGE SCHOOL of the approximate time of arrival so the family can be informed. That information must be given to ABANICO SPANISH LANGUAGE SCHOOL four days before the arrival of the student.

12. 12. All students authorize ABANICO SPANISH LANGUAGE SCHOOL to take those actions deemed necessary in case of a medical emergency.
